Be Happy, Feel Beautiful

One of the best things about summer is a great ice cream sundae. The banana split is always a fun option. But what do you do when you’re entertaining others or have a feeling that you won’t be able to eat a whole sundae? You make these cute banana split shooters!
To make them, you will need:
• 2 firm bananas
• 1 cup melted chocolate
• 1 cup sprinkles
• 1 container of Cool Whip
• 1 jar maraschino cherries
• 2 pints of ice cream (preferably Haagen Dazs)
Slice bananas in 1 inch thick slices. Hollow out centers but leave a bottom so that the bananas form cup shapes. Dip banana cups in melted chocolate. Dip chocolate-sauced bananas in sprinkles. Freeze bananas for a half hour or as long as it takes to harden. Fill each banana with a small scoop of ice cream. Top with Cool Whip and a cherry. Serve.
