Dear 65-year-old self,

Congrats on all your accomplishments thus far! You survived college, moved to New York City, and had a successful Editor-in-Chief position at your favorite magazine, Vogue.

Becoming Editor-in-Chief of Vogue was difficult, but you managed to work your way up to earn this prestigious position. You always loved to read and write, so this career was the best possible one you could have.

Overcoming obstacles is always a necessary evil, but you pulled through and managed to make your hobby into a career. Becoming Editor-in-Chief is not easy, but you managed to take on such a great position and such a great accomplishment.

You have the internship, Blissful Belle, to thank for your achievements! Starting your journalism career early was a wise decision to get your foot in the door in the industry.

Remember to cherish the little things in life, like family, friends and writing. Don’t take anything too seriously or you’re going to get hurt. Life is short, and you should cherish and enjoy every minute of it.

Enjoy retirement!  Continue to freelance write and enjoy what life has to offer. I’m so proud of what you’ve become!

Sincerely,

Your 19-year-old self
