How To: Use Your Summer Clothes in Fall Fashion

Every season we all go out and buy new clothes because we have to have the latest fall trends.  We have all spent money buying summer clothes and accessories, only to be able to wear them for a month or so! And being poor college students requires us to get a little creative, transforming those fabulous summer trends into the perfect fall outfits.

  • White Jeans: These were a must have this summer and they looked great with everything! Now that Labor Day has come and gone, we’re left with several pairs of white jeans just lying in our closet.  To solve this problem, just throw that whole rule about not wearing white after Labor Day out the window! Instead, take those white jeans and match them up with a fall colored cardigan or sweater, it will look great and the white will contrast with the fall colors and make them pop even more!
  • Maxi Dresses: They work wonders! If you are feeling bloated or you just simply want to be comfortable this was the go to dress. This can also be worn in the fall. All you have to do is add a little sweater or a tight long sleeve shirt underneath and you will be dressed perfect for that cooler fall weather.
  • Nude Wedges and Pumps: First of all how can a nude color shoe go out of style?  These shoes made our legs look extra long while we wore our skirts and shorts but now they will look even better with a long pair of leggings or skinny jeans! Due to the nude color they will just continue to extend our legs and make us appear longer which is what we all want!

Instead of just throwing these three must haves of the summer in the closet and waiting until next summer we can now get another season of use out of them! Remember to always be creative with your clothes!
