Hungry Belle: Berrylicious Crisp

Blueberries are packed with antioxidants, vitamin C, dietary fiber and manganese. Use this powerhouse food to create a delicious and nutritious dessert that will benefit more than just your sweet tooth. Blueberry crisp is a mixture of healthy nutrients and a treat all in one.

Berrylicious Crisp


  •  3-4 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup Agave nectar
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 3-4 teaspoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar


Get a 9×13 pan. Mix the blueberries with the Agave nectar. Pour the blueberry mix into the pan. Mix the rest of the ingredients separately (rolled oats, butter, flour, brown sugar). Sprinkle this mix on top of the blueberries. Bake at 250 degrees for 20 minutes. If you want it to be sweeter, drizzle more Agave nectar on top!
