How To: Stay Warm And Stylish This Winter

Winter is approaching us like a speeding bullet and it’s almost time to retire your favorite summer essentials but don’t think putting those minis and daisy dukes into storage means you can no longer dress sexy! With these great tips I’ll show you how to be va va voom when the temperature drops!

Tights: Get some tights! Black tights are a fashion staple these days, if you want to show off your sexy legs this winter go for it! Pull out that mini skirt or dress and show off your legs but don’t forget your tights. Nothing is worse than rocking a mini skirt in the winter with frost bitten legs so stock up on those stockings! Express has some great tights with different designs and they even sell thicker designed stockings!

Thigh high boots: Thigh highs are back, rock them with your minis and they’ll be sure to keep your legs much warmer compared to a pair of pumps. Plus, you can wear these shoes during the day with your jeans, just to add a little sexiness to any winter ensemble. Thigh highs can take your legs from average to mile high in an instant, therefore making your legs appear leaner and sexier, and don’t forget warm, performing triple duty!

Faux-Fur Jacket: I am obsessed with faux-fur this season because it just looks so elegant and alluring. There’s a hint of mystery with these coats, you never know what they are covering up or what someone may or may not be rocking underneath them. Faux-Fur jackets are majorly appealing since they are associated with anonymity and warmth! So go get a sexy faux-fur coat this season, so that way no matter what you are or aren’t wearing you’ll still be fashionably toasty and warm!

Hats: Remember those straw fedoras we all wore religiously this summer well there’s a new version of the fedora that’s made with materials like felt and wool. So we can keep our favorite bad hair day accessory even in the snow! These fedoras are extra warm but still chic looking so go snag one to keep your hair warm and your hair static free!

Legwarmers: Legwarmers are a great way to add warmth and sexiness to your winter ensembles without adding bulk to the butt or thigh area. If you’re already a stocking lover but still cold when the temperatures drop your best bet is to rock some thigh high black leg warmers! Wear them over your spandex to keep your legs looking lean and feeling warm! Leg warmers are also cute over ankle boots and this season they’re showing faux-fur leg warmers that you can wear over boots and jeans!

Scarves: Scarves are serving double duty as both protective gear and necklace replacement this season. So go get a thick scarf this winter in a pretty color or feminine pattern. Scarves really do a lot to protect us from the winter elements so invest in a good one that you will be able to wear with your favorite winter coat. Every fashionista I know will be rocking her favorite scarf this season!

Hope these fun tips keep you looking hot and staying warm this winter season! And don’t forget to check Blissful Belle’s pick for best fall coats!
