How To: Eat Right For Healthy Skin


A lot of dermatologists claim that food has no bearing on a person’s skin, while others claim diet makes a big difference when it comes to one’s complexion. Better safe than sorry as I always say, so here are some great tips to help keep your body and face looking phenomenal!

An Apple A Day Keeps The Derm Away: Eating at least one apple a day is supposed to keep the doctor away, well if your granny was referring to the dermatologist then she was right on the money! Apples remove a lot of the toxins in the body,therefore removing the toxins that clog pores and cause nasty breakouts! But remember to peel off the skin since the pesticides used on apples may actually add more toxins to your body! Or you can opt for organic apples and eat as much skin as your heart desires!\

H20: Drinking water is a key factor in removing wastes from the body. Therefore keeping a clear and even complexion is as easy as gulping down some refreshing water! Instead of drinking sports drinks or sodas, which are filled with sugar, water cleanses the body and is free of calories. So drink up belles!

Fruits and Veggies: Since fruits are mainly composed of water and anti-oxidants they too are able to filter out the toxins in the body and keep your mug clear of imperfections. Vegetables are also the best choice when trying to brighten up your complexion. Vegetables are good for your skin, hair and body, so chomp on some good old fashioned veggies girls and start bringing sexy back to your face!

Avoid Chocolate: Chocolate has been shown to cause many people to breakout. Chocolate contains caffeine which is extremely bad for the skin and body! So avoid chocolate at all costs, it is neither good for your skin nor face!

Stay Away From Junk Food: Junk food is referred to as such since it is basically garbage! Don’t put garbage into your body, it will show up not only on your hips and thighs but on your gorgeous face! So, put down the Pringles and step away from the candy! Beauty starts from within, so putting junk into your body is not a good start! A greasy potato chip cannot and will not get you the clear skin you’re dreaming of!
